Len Turcotte for Speaker announces addition of new advisors

Dear Fellow Republican,

It has been an honor speaking with many of you over the past couple of weeks. If we haven’t spoken yet, I look forward to talking with you soon. Please reach out to me or a member of the team anytime; we want to hear from you. I have started to meet with small groups in person and look forward to making my way around the state to meet with everyone I can. I’d love to meet with you, please let me know your availability and what your favorite local place is.

I am pleased to announce three new advisors of the Len Turcotte for Speaker Team, Brian Seaworth, Ted Gorski and Deb Hobson.

I have also added to the growing list of frequently asked questions, which can be found on our website, TurcotteForSpeaker.com/FAQs.

I want to highlight my three primary reasons for taking on this challenge.

  1. We need to reestablish trust, integrity, and accountability in the caucus. My door will be open to all points of view, and when  decisions are made their rationale will be clearly explained. Rules changes that need to be addressed will happen. Openness and transparency will be a hallmark of the caucus.
  2. It is crucial that communications within the House Republican Caucus and with the Senate and Governor be significantly improved. Where we have agreement on principles, we need to work together to get the people’s business done. We need to avoid unproductive controversy and be seen collectively as champions for the people. It’s not about who gets the credit; it’s about getting things done.
  3. We will work to establish a list of key priorities for the upcoming session. These will include:
  • Maintaining fiscal responsibility. Low taxes are the result of low spending. This means controlling the budget and basing it on historical inflation and avoiding increases beyond this.
  • Parental rights are strongly supported by a supermajority of New Hampshire’s citizens. We will work together to pass legislation to ensure parents are in charge of their students’ education, not the teacher’s union.
  • New Hampshire citizens deserve to live in safe communities. Our agenda will support strong yet constitutional law enforcement efforts and prevent the adverse impacts and costs of illegal immigration.

I encourage you to look at our website, turcotteforspeaker.com, and consider a vote for positive new leadership in the House.

Respectfully,

Len Turcotte
